It's quite early in our relationship, but I need something from you.
Very soon I will be walking in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. The whole relay is a metaphor really: a journey that begins at dusk, night deepens, darkness threatens to overwhelm. But with help of others who share the burden, dawn soon appears. A glorious morning waits for those who persevere. If you look at the idea without cynicism, it's a beautiful belief.

It IS a fun event! And a worthwhile cause. Is that this weekend?
I organized a team from work in 2003. My little family found it is better to have others to help walk those midnight-to-5 a.m. shifts. That part was really boring.
You're a good man for helping!
